I thought it was our duty as a reputable air conditioning company to draw your attention to a tradesperson who is (and has been for a long time) giving the air conditioning industry a bad name.
This person has for years been fleecing vulnerable people who engage him to do work on their air conditioner, or install a “new one” or service gas appliances, (he does not hold any gas licenses, he uses old air conditioners that he has painted and he uses second hand parts).
We came across him when he used to buy spare parts from us, in time he stopped paying the bill but gave lots of plausible excuses on why we should continue to sell (give) him spare parts. Eventually we got wise and stopped supplying him altogether, this was in about 2008. Since that time we have had lots of customers come into Thermelec with tales of woe on how a tradesman had ripped them off, when we enquired it was always the same person.

What I would like to say is that fortunately these instances are few and far between but it only takes one bad apple to taint the whole batch.
